Chinese is one of the most difficult languages for a native English

speaker to learn.
I understand why now.
I’ve been learning for about two months and I’ve hit my head against the proverbial wall due to the tones. 😣
Why can’t I train my voice on the tones? Why can’t my ears distinguish between them?
🥺 I’m left feeling a bit frustrated this weekend.
But tomorrow will be another day. Another opportunity to learn. I hope to learn more vocabulary tomorrow. I must encourage myself to continue learning.
