I made a witch, designed by Anibal Voyer. In Europe and colonial America, it was believed that witches floated on water and that non-witches sank. If someone was accused of being a witch, they would be dunked in a pond and bystanders would decide whether they were floating in the water. If it was decided that they were floating, they would be deemed a witch and executed.
