Summer flowers in my yard 💕🐝

We planted corn last year, but

around 75% of it was eaten by deer. So this year we planted sunflowers. 🌻 Sadly, over half of the young sunflower plants were also eaten, either by rabbits or deer. Rabbits and deer are our constant nemesis. 😅

@rimi Arigato 🌻 There is a wooded area near my backyard. Sometimes I see deer looking towards my yard. 😁 My neighbors do not have vegetable garden.

Ahhh lovely. My sunflowers never came up (or birds ate the small plants as they emerged). My lilies did come up but you have many more than I. My nemesis are squirrels and sometimes the birds. We give them seed but they still eat my flowers.

@Coco We tried scarecrows and a large plastic owl.🦉 The owl was used to ward off the birds from the raspberry bush. Both didn’t work. 😆

@Zack Ken A month ago my dog injured his leg running after a rabbit. He was in pain for two weeks. 😢 Now he feels better but I won’t allow my dog to chase rabbits anymore. 👍
