A week ago I contacted my landscaper to start cutting the lawn

and he agreed. Well,
the grass is growing taller and taller because our landscaper decided to take a trip to Florida last week. Apparently he returned home yesterday and he will cut the grass this week. I hope so because I won’t be able to see my dog soon and the neighbors will give us the stink eye. 😂

This past winter we started food scraps compost. The compost was added to the vegetable garden. We also mixed in used coffee grounds for healthy soil.🪴👩🏻‍🌾

“Give you the stink eye” 😂 I’ll give the stink eye, coupled with some teeth kissing too. 😂 Only for for Gary’s sake, I’m willing to sit for a peace pipe smoke. 😅 That’s awesome! Nothing wasted. The earth giveth, the earth receiveth.

That is a good compost. I usually buy compost at a plant store, 20 baht per bag.👍🏻👍🏻🪴

@Jennifer Good job with reading my moment. The grass is already tall. This time of year the grass grows fast. The landscaper was supposed to cut it last week but as of today the grass hasn’t been cut yet. I have a small dog. Soon grass will be too tall that I won’t see my small dog.

The comment about the neighbours reminded me an interesting video essay by Michael Pollan. Lawn is something completely alien to Greek city landscape. :) 🏡 https://aeon.co/videos/an-odd-and-completely-unnatural-institution-why-is-the-front-lawn-so-beloved-by-americans

Hi, Beth😊 Gray can enjoy hide-and-seek in your garden before the landscaper cut the lawn😁🎶 Are there clovers with four leaves in your lawn? 四つ葉のクローバー(yotsuba no kuroba) is very rare in Japan and it's a symbol of happiness🍀💗

@Marine Arigato for the positive comment. 💕 Landscaper will come today to mow the lawn. 👍😃 I think they are three or four clover leaves. ☘️🍀
