What kind of behaviors are unacceptable in HelloTalk?
To ensure HelloTalk remains a safe and friendly place to learn languages, we use a combination of automated and manual systems to block and remove accounts that are used to persistently or flagrantly abuse our community standards. In certain cases, we will seek further information about an account before taking actions ranging from temporarily restricting accounts to permanently disabling them.
Unacceptable behaviors in chat conversation:

Insulting, harming, stalking or harassing others, whether in words or actions (including bullying or persistent disturbance of others through chats)

Abusing or encouraging others to abuse the report or block function

Initiating sexual talks or sending images/video which contain partial or full nudity, sexual content

Publishing phishing links, advertising, or spam

Committing fraud (for example, taking another person’s identity to commit crimes, harm others, ask for money, donations, etc.)

Using pictures or content of others on your profile without permission (for example, a photo from someone else's profile or post, a screenshot of someone's profile or contact information, a screenshot of a chat conversation, or someone else's post)

Harassing others to solicit pictures or contact details

Entangled harassment (including registering multiple accounts for harassment)

Registering multiple accounts or posting content automatically, systematically, or programmatically
Unacceptable posts and comments in Moments
1. Pornography, images or text which contain partial or full nudity

Advertising searching for dates, relationships, or romance

QR codes or IDs from other apps (including but not limited to: WeChat, Line, Kakao, Snapchat, Skype, etc.)

Sexual harassment, Content (including but not limited to: text, image, video, or audio) of sexual implication

Advertising, marketing, promotional materials, spam, fundraising notifications, auctions, sweepstakes, sales, job hunting

Insulting language, including cursing

Drugs and alcohol

Violent threats or images that are considered violent, terrifying or disgusting, or explicit content, such as words and images of people and animals that are mistreated, harmed or dead (including text and images about self-harm)

Politically or religiously sensitive issues, or racist remarks

Other people's pictures or content used without permission (for example, photos from other people's profiles or posts/images and content posted by other third-party software/apps)
