I've backed up my chat history. Why can't I restore it?

Please note that cross-system chat backup and restoration is not currently supported, which means chat history cannot be migrated between iOS devices and Android devices, and only devices of the same system are supported.

iOS device:

Please be aware that chat backups are stored in iCloud. Make sure to log in with the same Apple ID on your new iOS device. After downloading and installing HelloTalk on the new device and logging in to your account, you will be prompted to restore chats from backup. Click [Yes] to restore.

Android device:

After backing up on the old device, download and install HelloTalk on the new device and log into the account. Go to Me > Settings > Chat Settings > Back up and Restore > Restore from Backup

If the chat history has been successfully backed up but still cannot be restored, please click Submit Feedbackto contact the Customer Service Team and describe the problem in detail.
