'From where did you hear that joke?' 这个句子对不对？

的人的问题是关于词序。前置词在前面是不是有点太正式了？其实是。关于英语语法，这个说法没有错，但是这样说听起来比较正式。

我们可能最好要说的：
'Where did you hear that joke (from)?'
