Hey Hey 👋,

Today we will read about the London aquarium~ it

is a place I have visited many times and is very close to other attractions like the London eye.

“The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 SEA LIFE attractions in the UK and Europe.

Along the journey, a stunning glass tunnel walkway offers guests an unforgettable experience by strolling underneath a Tropical Ocean. There is plenty of interaction along the way, from feeding the stingrays and watching diving displays to touch pools and discovery zones. Other stars of the show include seahorses, octopus, zebra sharks and the ever popular clown fish.”

Record yourself reading the passage and I’ll help you!~

Don’t forget to follow the profile for daily English exercises and ask me if you have any questions.

*I haven’t been feeling well recently 😨 but I hope you are all safe and feeling better than me!~ haha*

Cheers guys!~

@Clay Hey Clay, sounded like a tricky one today right? Haha. Don’t worry, some words caught me out too when I recorded it ^_^ good job going until the end though. Sometimes you make some r/l mistakes, so may need to work a bit more in distinguishing the two. Also, most of the passage was more in an American accent than British, but honestly doesn’t matter too much :) keep it up ~

@Anny Hey Anny, your reading was great :) in terms of how to improve speaking? First is to use the language a lot. So speaking to English speakers, mimicking shows, singing songs, all of these can help. The most effective is to speak to English speakers, doesn’t have to be natives, but they need to at least speak with correct grammar or you may pick up their mistakes. Taking English classes is also very effective ^_^

@Kevin Lol yeah it's tricky. I read it in a American accent on purpose 😁cuz I practise both accents recently.

@Jane Hey, good work today! You took your time which was great to hear, just need to make sure we pronounce the whole word as sometimes you would either say the wrong word or say only the first half and not the last sound of the word!~ but overall it was nice 😊

@Da jeong Hi hi, yes, take a big deep breath! 😲 haha. Great work, a lot of the passage was really good. The only concerns I had was the r/l pronunciation and the z pronunciation. With the z pronunciation, don’t sound it as ㅈ and think of a completely different letter which Hangul can’t replicate. Overall was really good so keep it up :)

@辉月 Hey, great work. If there wasn’t any minor mistakes, I would of thought you were a british native :) be careful with reading the words correctly, like ‘show’ and ‘clown’. Also be careful with the pronunciation of ’aquarium’. Finally, the ‘th’ sound~~ be careful.

@Sayhello Hey :) Amazing work. I can tell you are confident in your English speaking, so now it is just fine tuning to make sure it is like a native speaker. The only thing which I can think of right now is the z sound. Try not to think of it as ㅈ ~ so please try to focus on perfecting the z sound ^^

@Bingo Hey, good effort today. There were quite a few words which you may not have read or seen before, but please try to read them correctly and then sound them out as they are written. So take your time at first and then you can read it faster when you are more confident ~
