I ran out for a short hike

today. I am still adjusting to the shortening days, I left the house just as the sun was setting behind the mountains. No animal sightings today, but as I was returning to my car I had to pause and take out my camera for another show in the sky. This is looking west.

There was also house nearby lit up with Halloween colors, so of course I could not resist snapping a picture. 🎃

I hope some of the lovely evening atmosphere comes across in the photos.🎆

@11111 haha, actually I lied, there was a herd of deer coming onto the meadow as I was driving away, but it was way too dark by then anyway. Oh I need to share a video that will be something for you... Will look for it...
