Remember people, this goes both ways. The same way we shouldn

't call Chinese and other Asian citizens abroad a virus, Chinese and Asian citizens shouldn't refer to foreigners living in their countries a virus. People are not a virus. Period

    没毛病,来中国的人会得到更好的治疗。不过总会有好人坏人,有些人一边说国外好,中国差,然后还要回来避难,还要嫌弃中国的,那些人比较坏。

@ToniMokみさき I agree with you. However, my point here is to raise awareness for both groups of people you know? Several of my Chinese friends don't believe foreigners are starting to be mistreated in China because they only focus on what happens to Chinese people abroad. And I understand that people always pay more attention to what affects them more closely, but through the course of this situation we should be aware of how everyone is being affected. Not just our own countries.

@Carlos Oviedo i think only a few of them suffer from unfair treatment. My foreign friends are all ok

@Granger See that's my point. Just because many are ok doesn't mean it isn't a problem. It's about awareness. I'm glad your friends haven't dealt with unfairness but we should spread awareness so everyone can see and not feed the problem

@Carlos Oviedo yes. I check the number everyday…not only check for China…it become worse out abroad. I am so angry what they r still arguing.. the most important is what should we do now…not to argue about wrong or right…

@ and where is your discriminatory attitude coming from? Have you ever met a Chinese person before? It wasn't their fault this happened, it could've happened anywhere. For you to say that is bigoted and unreasonable and only helps to fuel the hate people already have for each other. You should be ashamed of yourself

@ToniMokみさき Exactly. We should be collaborating. China's methods seem extreme to western countries but it worked. And Korea's methodology has slowed down the spread drastically. People just need to get their heads out of their asses and out their ego aside to help their people

@ That's terrible. I'm sorry to hear that. This is a perfect example of what I mean though. I understand being more concerned for the people that are more directly affected to you. But now that your friends have first hand experience and you also have heard their stories the best thing to do is spread awareness so that the same thing doesn't happen in China. I currently live in Qingdao and it's starting to happen here too. Foreigners not being allowed into markets or yelled at on the metro. I'm sorry that Trump has brought out all the evil in people's hearts but those affected should take that as an opportunity to stop the hatred from spreading instead of thinking "oh the Americans treated me this way so now I have to treat them that way to be fair." An eye for an eye makes us all blind you know?

@ China is not wrong. China is a great country. No one can stay away for months like the Chinese. Medical staff from all over the country came to help fight the epidemic in Wuhan. I don't know where this kind of discrimination comes from?
