I feel like I am having a serious identity crisis. I am British

but don't feel I belong their because even though I have been away, none of my family care. I don't feel I have anything in Britain for me to come back to. Then my partner is Chinese. But I don't have any friends in China and I don't feel like I belong here either as I am finding it too hard to adjust to. It's heart breaking because I don't feel like I belong to either culture or country. I feel so lost so vulnerable.

All you need to do is to find yourself first. Try to get the idea of what you want, who you want to be with and where you want to go. Don't count on anyone else. Just follow your heart and be yourself.

@Crystal In fact, you don't know much about Chinese people. The thinking of the Chinese is very different from that of the British.More people who don't want to talk to you,Not because of shyness,The most direct reason is that their spoken English is not good. That requires you to have a strong heart and patience to face these Chinese people.Chinese like to draw close to each other's feelings in a joking way.If you can't get used to this kind of joke, it's really a tough problem.
