Why did my account get suspended?

If your account has been reported by other users with evidence of using HelloTalk as a dating app, explicit content, soliciting money, advertising/marketing, politics/religion, offensive language, racial discrimination, etc., our Moderator Team will investigate the matter. If it's confirmed that your account has violated Community Guidelines, certain features may be restricted, including messaging, posting Moments and comments, and Live/Voiceroom. The severity of the action taken against your account depends on the nature and severity of the violation. Our process usually follows this pattern: Warning -> Suspension -> Removal.

We will send you a warning/suspension message through our official System Notification account and let you know the reason for the warning and the exact duration of the suspension if applicable. We kindly suggest you abide by our Community Guidelines and interact with others in a friendly manner to avoid violations. If your account's features have been restricted, you can submit an appeal by clicking on Submit Feedback and filling out the form. Please understand that appeals are handled manually, and we typically respond within 24 to 48 hours. Thank you for your patience.
