It’s been over a year since I came to the U.S., and I might be here for another four years. But I feel like my desire to just go back to Korea keeps growing. I guess it’s partly because of my family, and partly because it’s so hard to endure the loneliness. Even so, I’ll remain here—because I really don’t have another option. Being left alone in a place with no one I love feels like hell. But still, I have to stay. There’s no other choice. Reality is truly cold and cruel 미국에 온지 1년이 넘어가는 시점입니다. 앞으로 4년 더 있을수 있어요. 하지만 그냥 한국으로 돌아가고 싶은 마음이 점점 커지는거 같아요. 그건 가족 때문이기도 하고. 외로움을 견디기 힘든거겠죠. 그럼에도 전 여기에 남아 있을 겁니다. 그야 다른 대안이 없거든요. 사랑하는 사람이 아무도 없는 곳에 홀로 남겨있는건 정말 지옥같은 일입니다. 그럼에도 저는 남아있어야합니다. 어쩔 수 없는 일이죠. 현실은 정말 냉정하고 잔혹하답니다.

This is my second time coming to a nearby American church. I’m attending an ESL class and also joining the service. I used to go to a Korean church, but I came here because of the distance and because I realized the place itself isn’t what matters most. I hope everyone has a wonderful day 두번째로 인근 미국 교회에 왔습니다. ESL 수업도 듣고 예배를 드리고 있습니다. 한인교회를 다니던 중 이곳으로 온 것은 거리의 문제와 장소가 중요한 게 아니라고 느껴서입니다. 모두 즐거운 하루가 되기를 바랍니다.

오늘은 이상한 날이다. 오랜만에 시계를 차려고 했는데.... 모두 작동을 멈춰있었다 😂😂 앞으로는 시계에도 관심을 줘야겠네요^^
