Let’s make today’s story different, light, funny, and inspirational. For who's interested in reading short stories like me♥️ "The Talking Parrot" Omar owned a tiny bookstore on a quiet street. Business was slow, and most days he sat behind the counter reading. One afternoon, an old man came in carrying a big cage covered with cloth. “I can’t keep this anymore,” the man said, placing the cage down. “Would you like a parrot for your shop?” Omar raised his eyebrows. “A parrot? In a bookstore?” The old man shrugged. “Maybe it’ll bring you luck.” Curious, Omar agreed. When he uncovered the cage, the parrot looked at him with sharp eyes and squawked, “Read more books!” Omar laughed so hard he nearly fell off his chair. The parrot kept repeating it every few minutes: “Read more books! Read more books!” Word spread quickly. Soon, people started coming just to see the “book parrot.” Children loved it, adults recorded it, and every time someone tried to leave without buying anything, the parrot shouted, “Hey! Don’t leave empty-handed!” Within weeks, Omar’s bookstore became crowded. Customers bought books just for the fun of hearing the parrot cheer them on. Omar finally looked at the bird and said, “You’re the best business partner I’ve ever had.” The parrot tilted its head proudly and replied, “Pay me in sunflower seeds!” ✨ Moral: Sometimes, unexpected help can turn struggles into success — and humor can be the best advertisement.

You cannot win if you’re paralyzed by the thought of losing. Most men are so afraid of loss, they never even enter the fight. Too afraid of risk to ever taste great reward. There is no fear in dying on the battlefield when the cause is just, the only shame is never stepping onto it.
