Here is a photo I took on the 40th floor, in a hotel located in East London. I grew up on the 1st floor of a flat about 5 minutes from this view.
The view you can see from this picture? I know it all with my eyes closed. In the future I'm not sure if I should move somewhere else around the world to live in, but you know what London? You'll always be my first love.
How well do you know your city? Can you describe it?
My heart sinks a little every time someone on this app starts asking where am I from. It's not a good ice breaker when there is a flag right next to my face.

Hey everyone,
Here is an image of the traditional Turkish Tea. I've found some benefits online and thought I'd share it with you. Have you ever had Turkish Tea? Also if you do drink Turkish Tea, when do you usually drink it?
Health Benefits of Turkish Tea
Heart Health 🫀 Black tea can help reduce the risk of stroke and improve your heart health. Black tea contains flavonoids, which are phytonutrients that contain antioxidants. These flavonoids can help reduce LDL; the "bad" cholesterol that: contributes to heart attacks and strokes. Drinking two to three cups of black Turkish tea every day can help reduce these risks. Black tea also lowers blood platelet activation, which leads to the formation of blood clots (and heart attacks!). It can also help lower the risk of hypertension. Prevents DNA Damage 🧬 Tobacco and toxic chemicals can cause DNA damage. The antioxidants from Turkish tea, however, can block this DNA damage from occurring. Lower the rise of Diabetes & Obesity
Consuming one to two cups of Turkish tea a day can also lower the risk of diabetes and obesity. The EGCE within black tea can also affect fat metabolism. This can increase fat oxidation, boost exercise performance, and prevent obesity. Decreases Stress
The top tea-drinking company of the world is Turkey, at nearly seven pounds per person, per year. This can contribute to lowering the stress levels of the country's local population. Sip and de-stress. Black tea can help reduce levels of cortisol, which is the body's stress hormone. The amino acid L-theanine in black tea also boosts concentration. With a regular cup of Turkish tea, you can lower acute stress. This also benefits chronic illnesses that are associated with high-stress levels. After a long day, soothing your mind and body with a relaxing, warm cup of Turkish tea.
I've lived in London my whole life, I hear my teachers/professors pronouncing very long names before. But when it come to my short name which has 5 letters (Ahmet), they start having a seizure.

How can I make exercise a part of my regular routine? Make everyday activities more active. Even small changes can help. You can take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk down the hall to a coworker's office instead of sending an email. Wash the car yourself. Park further away from your destination. Be active with friends and family. Having a workout partner may make you more likely to enjoy exercise. You can also plan social activities that involve exercise. You might also consider joining an exercise group or class, such as a dance class, hiking club, or volleyball team. To here.

Here is an article on 'How to Keep a Conversation Going'
Getting into a conversation is one thing. There are socially accepted scripts you can follow: you can ask how they’re liking the weather, or how they know the host, or what they do for fun. But once you’re in a conversation, how do you maintain it? That’s where it gets a bit trickier. Here are five tips and tricks from experts to help you next time you experience an awkward mid-conversation silence. 1. Make sure you look interested. Nothing kills a conversation faster than a face that says, “I’m waiting for this conversation to end so I can go do something else.” Make sure you look alert and interested. Don’t scan the rest of the room over your conversation partner’s shoulder, try to maintain an appropriate amount of eye contact. 2. Don’t discount small talk. Small talk has a bad reputation, but it can both keep a conversation going and lead to bigger things. So go ahead — talk about the news, what your plans are for the weekend, and the things you do for fun. “We have to earn the right to have deeper conversation,” 3. Listen actively. Make sure you’re really listening to what the other person is saying, rather than just waiting for your turn to talk. What do they seem to be interested in? What do they want to talk about? “Instead of coming with an agenda, listen to what someone is enthusiastically talking about, and ask a question about it,” 4. Ask open-ended questions. Don’t fall into the trap of asking a series of yes-or-no questions. This makes it too easy for the conversation to stall, and too easy for your conversation partner to feel like they’re being quizzed. Instead, focus on open-ended questions. 5. Stay calm, and practice. Try not to feel nervous. Even if you’re not naturally gifted at conversation, as long as you remain kind and interested your conversation partner will likely leave with a positive impression.

Hope all is good. Here are some irregular plurals. Take a look at this image and see if you know them all. Here is another poem I've just read and recorded, have a listen to my pronunciations and maybe you can have a go? Be brave, let's see how you do it!
Welcome to society, We hope you enjoy your stay, And please feel free to be yourself, As long as it's in the right way, Make sure you love your body, Not too much or we'll tear you down, We'll bully you for smiling, And then wonder why you frown, We'll tell you that you're worthless, That you shouldn't make a sound, And then cry with all the others, As you're buried in the ground, You can fall in love with anyone, As long as it's who we choose, And we'll let you have your opinions, But please shape them to our views, Welcome to society, We promise that we won't deceive, And one more rule now that you're here, There's no way you can leave. All the best!

Here is another poem I've just read and recorded, have a listen to my pronunciations and maybe you can have a go? Be brave, let's see how you do it!
ALL I NEED I cannot preach with featherlight tongue, of the things I haven't lived. I lack the wisdom and experience, that only the years and life, can teach. I lack self-direction; I cannot show you the ways of life. I dissolve in thousands of moons, in the corner of longing I sit every night. But in this world full of wonders. One heart is all I need; which I hold. To love and to be loved. All the best!
Do you know where to use the following; Who? When? What? Why? Where? Which? Here are some examples down below.
This is extremely important. It takes year to build a reputation and seconds to lose it. Be responsible of your actions. Be kind. Be gentle. Think. Good actions are always better than evil.

This is for the people who think their accent is not enough. You've already learnt a language which is not your native. That is something you should be very proud of.
It's your choice if you want to speak in a certain accent, but remember you don't HAVE to speak in British/American accent, and don't be shy to speak your unique accent.
If you want to speak with a native English speaker with a British accent, drop me a message. I run sessions online in groups for people who want to improve their communication skills, you can join regardless of where you're from and what you speak.
