Many students often

confuse how to use these words. I see this mistake often with my students.

    And in Spanish you would use “divertido” for fun , and “gracioso” for funny; to avoid misunderstandings.

    @Shawn I meant that sometimes there’s also a confusion since some people use divertido for both, but if we use divertido for fun and gracioso for funny, then we can avoid misunderstandings.

    @Carica not quite. Fun means have a good time. Funny is something that makes you laugh. If you say you feel funny, it has another meaning. It means you feel a bit different than normal. Feel free to write your own sentence to see if you understand, and I’ll let you know if it is used correctly.

    @Shawn not only students 😅 My (complementary) suggestion is relate to the example "let's have fun", because I guess nobody confuse "fun" meaning in this phrase 🤓
