Just from my perspective, it’s not suitable to use this word in this situation. 人定胜天 more often than not is used to express if u knock yourself to do something, no matter how difficult the thing is, you could overcome it with your dedications and persistence. AND THIS WORD ALSO IS USED TO EXPREE SOMEONE OVERCOMES THE UNFAIR FATE WITH HIS OR HER HARD WORK
