Here we have the Cherry Blossoms Part

2! Here in the capital of the United States (Washington DC) we have a very special event to honor the cherry blossom trees given to us! We have a giant parade through the streets with many performances and floats all day (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ A PARADE!

I think the Tidal Basin is the BEST place to see the cherry blossoms since it's right next to a body a water. They even have paddle boats and cruise tours that you can take to ride on the water 🌸⛴️

After the parade, we have a Sakura Matsuri (さくらまつり) that has street vendors and authentic Japanese street food! They also host many performer and bands on the stage during the day. Sometimes they have rock bands, idol, groups, or even taiko drummers╰(*´︶`*)╯

I've been going to the parade and festival for 5 years now...and I plan on continuing! The parade and festival is happening THIS weekend...wish me luck! ∑d(°∀°d)
