Hey everyone :-), I was wondering If someone could help me. The

book I am learning Japanese from just asked me how would you say which one is the car. I responded dore wa, kumura desu ka. However the book says the answer is kumura wa, dore desu ka. Do both work or should I learn the one the book says.

    @tsubame so pretty much as long as I switch the wa with ga, the sentence will work?

    Actually Your answer is not ok, We can understand what you want to say, but it's not correct. If you want to say like your answer, you should use "ga" Dore ga Kuruma desuka. Of course Kuruma ha dore desuka is correct. Japanese grammar can't use Interrogative before "ha" that like similar situation.
