It is April Fool's Day. Here is some Kiwi humour for you.

When

I was a child a radio station released a message on April Fool's Day stating that a bottle of water lying on your front garden would stop neighbourhood dogs coming and peeing on your lawn. Suddenly bottles appeared everywhere. We would walk around the neighbourhood and see bottles of water scattered on every section. Even my Dad had a few bottles out, just in case of roaming dogs 😂. This rumour wouldn't die and every now and then it pops up again. It has become an urban myth.

@Jenil Sorry, I don't teach individuals. You can learn through my moments. I usually respond help people with their pronunciation if they record on my moments as I have time available.

In Japan, many people put bottles of water to avoid wild cats peeing on their walls or gardens😳 I thought it's kinda normal people do it.

@Hy 😄 There was another April Fool's Day joke I liked too. When I was a child they used to have televised sheep dog trials. A farmer would use special whistles to get a dog to move left or right to bring sheep to an enclosure. Except, on April Fool's Day, the dog was radio controlled. Everyone thought it was a new technology😄

So it doesn't work? Does dogs still pee on lawn and never pee in the bottle?

@Rachael hahahahahahaha I didn’t have a chance to listen to a new April Fool’s Day joke this year, except reading a news about Volkswagen is in trouble after they put their joke. You made me laugh, thank you :))

Aquí en México, llenan con agua bolsas de plástico trasparente, y las cuelgas en los lugares donde no quieren que haya moscas. La verdad no sé si funciona jajajjajajajaj!😄

@Jayden How likely do you think it is to work?😊 Dogs pee on all sorts of obstacles.

@Gaby OC Now you are going to have to observe the water bags to see if they work or not. You could conduct a small scientific experiment 😄
