좀 작고 오래되어도 싼 집 찾아보세요 I recommend 원룸 instead of 오피스텔

58 for two rooms is not very expensive. If you add more defosit, you can get a room at a lower price. There is a unique housing rental system called 전세. If you have a lot of cash in your pocket, it is a system that allows you to rent a house only at deposit without monthly rent. This is a one-year contract, and upon the termination of the contract, the deposit will be refunded in full. If you want to save on rent, consider 전세.

@ry I think it's acceptable. 200~250/40~55 for two bed is average in Daejeon.

Try to find officetels. Little more expensive than one rooms but much more safe and many convenient facilities. And the online prices are usually used as the "bates" so that many customers contact them.

First, you should know the average price in each area you want to stay in. Second, make a list and check the places in real because it’s different from what they say in the app sometimes. So it would be much better if you are good at Korean :)

If you're serious about coming, rathee than just exploring all things Korea online or something, you really should come then choose because 1. where you are vs where you work/study can really impact your commutes, social life, etc. 2. There is often a very steep foreigner price on housing, so having a Korean to keep negotiations fair might save you a ton of money.

There is a huge difference in rents depends on suburb in Korea. I think it’s not so different from UK in terms of the different rents based on suburb. Need to find out the average first as NIM said. Anyway that rent is not so expensive for 2bedrooms.
