and a common grackle.

Another quick evening walk resulted in a few worthy shots. It was a much colder day, but the birds didn't seem to mind. The common grackle is such a colorful bird, very deceptive, since from afar it looks black, but it actually sports an iridescent blue head and bronze body.

I will have another post from today's outing with the first blooms of the season! I am pretty excited to share those. I was not expecting all those colors today. Coming later...
