Today I am visiting Monterey. Monterey is in California, it is

right on the coast of the Pacific Ocean.

It was once famous for being a fisherman's town. The people caught and canned sardines for many years.

These days it is a vacation destination for many rich people. It is also a stop on the Pacific Coast Highway. For the next two days I'll be driving down the coast and taking lots of pictures!
