Finally, my daughter decided that she needed to return to California

after staying with us for four and a half months. She was originally supposed to return on January 1st, but she ended up staying with us an additional two and a half months. I guess we weren’t bad parents after all. 😉😁
My husband asked me, ‘How should we celebrate with the departure of our daughter?’ He asked this question in the presence of our daughter. 😂
Today we dropped her off at the airport. She arrived safely to her destination. 🙏

@Beth You are a nice mother. I can understand your feeling because my kid went to the states to study nine years ago as a teenager. I went through a real miserable period, but it is worth it. Everything is getting better now.

@james muse I agree. My first daughter knows how it feels to live on her own. I live in the East Coast and my daughter lives in the West Coast, we are thousands of miles apart. And we have no relatives in the West Coast so she is on her own. I’m very proud of her. It was nice to spend time with her. She worked remotely therefore was able to stay longer with us. I thought she would get tired of her parents, however that wasn’t the case. 😄

@Atsuko I do miss her but it’s okay to separate from each other. We’ll see each other again. Life is too short to be serious all the time. We like to joke around and my husband is the biggest banterer. ✨🥰😆

@.. Thanks, Ike 🥰 I’m grateful that she arrived safely. It was a long solo travel for her. My daughter laughed when she heard the question. 😁 We like to banter around. 👍 The weather is perfect in LA, sunny and in the 70s. Here it’s dreary, damp and chilly. 😭
