Sometimes you cannot blame the things you say in a language on

your skill level in that language.

I have met many people on this app who say really offense and racist things but say it is because their English isn’t good enough.

You don’t have to say those things. You could use a translator or say it in your language and work together to better translate it. To speak without thinking fully what you are saying shows you do not really care what you are saying as much as just saying it.

If you don’t know, ask. If you don’t ask then you cannot blame it on your language level.

I quite agree with what you said, as there is a saying that the speaker does not want the listener to think twice about whether he will hurt others before saying anything.

@莫希梓 exactly. I tried to explain to someone what they are saying is offense or racist, but they refused to listen and began to argue they are right. So I start thinking “why do you need English partner then? You’re an expert on English clearly”.

@OopsMe yes omg. It’s like it’s 2020, we have cellphones that can do basically anything, and people pretend like they can’t fix their mistake? Or idk, ask.

@Fergie People who don't understand or listen can choose to ignore it because there will always be people who feel like God doesn't make mistakes.
