When my

dad was a kid, he used to collect stamps. At that time, stamp collecting was one of the most popular hobbies among boys.

As you can see, he has a few old stamps from Japan. How old do you think they are?

In the text, I noticed a denomination called ‘sen’. It the first time I have seen that. According to the book, 100 sen was the same as 1 yen.

Very old stamps, indeed. 1 yen at that time equivalent to now would be approximately a few thousand yen.

In the old time of Japan, people used "SEN" for counting money. It's very interesting to see your dad's collection! The orange stamp with the postmark, do you know whether the date's year was Japanese calendar or western calendar?🙄
