Today we finally made it to Virginia. It was a long car trip

, almost 12 hours (522 miles). On our first day we did a lot of hiking in the Shenandoah national park. Our first hike brought us to a beautiful scenic and very famous blue ridge mountains. It was hard to breathe in that high altitude, but the view was amazing. For our second hike, we traveled down a steep ravine to view a spectacular waterfall. It was so peaceful and majestic, so it was worth the long trip. We were very tired at the end of the day, but it was so worth it.
