Today is a sad day in China's history. As I've grown and learned

more about history, it has become apparent to me of how terrible human beings can be to people they consider to be a secondary category, such as "foreigners" or "undesirables". It is only through learning about and reflecting on this history that we can ensure we do not repeat it. I wish for peace and remembrance today for my Chinese friends.
