@Josh thats the point i ment, the second sentence makes it not funny for a german, it makes it worse, not funny at all sorry... I guess i got a more dark sarcasm and ironic kinda humor 😏 or maybe I just hit the germans have no humor stereotype, who knows 😞😜😁

@Galen Marek The first sentence can be interpreted two ways: 1. The dogs have been chasing people who have been riding by on bikes, or 2. The dogs have been riding bikes in order to chase people. Because the second interpretation of the first sentence is so ridiculous, nobody expects it when the second sentence suggests that the speaker interpreted the first sentence according to the silly second Interpretation! Dogs riding bikes! 😂
