    @RobbieWang Yeah, that’s why I am using the Allegro gaming library with the C language for its cross platform capabilities. Plus it’s open source.😊

    @Mike Oh, UNIX-like system are very stable and safe. Like Apple's iOS, macOS, compared with Microsoft's Windows and Google's Android, they are very stable and reliable. But Apple's OS are too close, I mean they are close source, while Android and Windows are more open.

    @RobbieWang You’re welcome. Yep, Minix is basically a Unix/Linux OS. In general, MINIX is a POSIX-compliant, Unix-like operating system based on a microkernel architecture and was used to teach the development of an Operating System from the ground up.

    @RobbieWang Well, I would just pick one and focus all my learning with that programming language until I am ready to move to another. I guess for game programming you could use Unity and work with C# as an example, but not sure what you have in mind. My goals could be different than yours for programming...so the difficulty could range from easy to hard. I was studying a book on OS development one time which introduced the Minix OS to me. The difficulty on grasping OS design is pretty high on the hard level for me, but not unlearnable. Still, you can message me anytime and talk shop...not saying I always will have the answer to a possible problem you want to solve, but my door is open. 😊

    @RobbieWang Yeah, I have studied C/C++ for sometime now. My first introduction to programming was QBasic 4.5 on the DOS 6.22 OS. Currently, I am learning about Graphic Libraries for game development such as Allegro, OpenGL, DirectX, and SDL. I also know a little Windows programming with the Win API and leaned a little bit about Window Hooks and Multithreaded programs. I still have much to learn though and enjoy programming very much. 😊
