The UK is officially out of the European Union today. Although

it's a very sad day, I'm hopeful that it also marks the start of a (long and slow) journey back to sanity ...

I hope so. Well for a long time , I liked the UK. Now I don't recognize the UK of today. I hope to stand together against the COVID19 crisis and economy challenges. But I feel like something will trouble a lot inside the UK.. Scotland, NI.. who knows what will happen, what do you think about that?

@Eva I agree. It's impossible to say "job done" in terms of populists around the world, and particularly those willing to exploit social media. I'm just relieved that at least enough voters in the USA were persuaded to do something about it.

@Oli Thank you for your reply. It’s very fascinating & I certainly hope things better for the UK. The world in general needs hope, it seems. Although I agree we will have competent leadership in a few weeks, the divide is still going strong. Still people want to fight the results and overturn the election. It’s insane.
