When people call me “cute” I just want to die a little bit inside

I’m a 30-year old woman.

I’m working really hard to change the way I speak (yes even my voice), dress and my habits to seem more mature. When you call me cute it makes me feel like a child.

@小红 I hang out mostly around boys (who were all older than me). And whenever they call me cute it was always to tease me for being childlike because I’m clumsy, usually higher voice etc. So even now if someone calls me cute romantically, I can’t disassociate the two. I immediate think they are calling me a child. I rather look mature and 30. 😅😅😅 and stay 30 forever
