Hey everyone! I have an English slang tip for you today! The

word is “bail” BAIL.

This words formal definition is to exchange money to secure the temporary release of someone accused of a crime.

However, bail is used in slang to mean “to leave or quit quickly without notice - usually meaning to get away from something/ somewhere or someone.

For example:
John: I can’t believe this class goes for 3 hours!
Sarah: I know! I’m totally going to bail after 1 hour.
