A number of situations can arise throughout a lifetime that maycause a person to feel that their life sucks. This may include the loss of loved ones, the loss of a job, a chronic illness, break-ups and divorces, and more.
In all of these situations it is normal to feel depressed.
Yet, it is also important to realize that it is possible to rebound from these situations through positive thinking; that is by thinking about problems in a more optimistic and productive way.
