Aww...a precious moment of my daughter and Gary together. 💗

However, I sense that Gary would rather
be outside sniffing for little creatures. But
he is stuck in the house because the yard
is covered in snow. There is no sign of Spring here.😭

My daughter who works in the entertainment industry recommended the movie ‘Minari’ quite some time ago and finally we saw it last night. The movie is about a Korean American family who try to make it in rural America. I adored the little boy in the movie. He was a keen observer regarding the challenges his family faced. He was also inquisitive and blunt, especially towards his Grandmother who I also liked. A heartwarming and wonderful movie 💕

@Beth it is very similar to watergrass/water parsley. I love the Minari so much. Korean eat them in various ways, such as making kimchi, soup, fresh juice and etc

@mihae My heart dropped with the fire scene. 😥 The Grandmother was clever to grow minari, I have never heard of this plant until this movie. Do you eat minari? Perhaps I ate minari at a Korean restaurant.

@Beth Yeah I was feeling the similar way while I was watching the movie. But probably first immigrant generation would have had more trouble settling in than me. At least i don’t have any kids or family. I just care myself only. Sometimes it is also quiet difficult hehe. I really wish the movie ends happy but felt so deeply sad the fire scenes. But also i was so glad when the kid started to run to the grandma.
