It’s Canada Day today. I saw a few of the Canada Day activities

back home have been canceled due to the unprecedented heatwave. Yesterday destroyed Canada’s hottest day record with temperatures reaching 49.6C in certain areas.

@Kevin The U.S. is going to start looking into the boarding/residential schools that were here. I am afraid to know how many children will be found

@Jennifer I heard yesterday they suspect it might be the same at almost all residential schools in North America that the Catholic Church was running. Pretty messed up situation going on back home

🤔 The Indigenous people of Canada because of the recent uncovering of over 1,000 bodies of Indigenous children at residential school sites have asked for halt in Canadian day celebrations. It looks like Mother Nature is also saying no.
