Hey everyone! Just wanted to say sorry, I haven't been as active

as I used to be on here. As of recently I've switched my dieting and I started doing intermittent fasting. The diet is more of a "keto" diet. My favourite snack so far is in the 1st picture, it is cottage cheese and pepper and then in the 2nd picture you have cube steak and French cut green beans. I also had some grilled salmon patties and then in the last picture is a different cut of salmon along with cauliflower with melted pepper Jack cheese on top. Bon appetit!

@B.B I have lost some weight in the process, but my goal at this point is to get my body into ketosis. In doing so, my body will start using fat as a source of energy instead of sugar and carbohydrates.

Fruits + Nuts diet is similar to Keto diet but unlike Keto it's really good for you. You're loosing weight and becoming healthier at the same time.

@Nico That's the thing about people and diets, not all diets are good for all people. As you stated "Fruits+ Nuts" are good for you, but someone with diabetes shouldn't eat a lot of fruit because it can spike their sugar levels. Remember to always research what works for you but try not to assume it's good for someone else.

@Robert Sugars in fruits do not spike sugar levels.. that's false belief. Unlike artificial sugar it slowly absorbs into your body and it doesn't stay in your blood vessels too long and almost instantly used as energy. Chimpanzee and gorillas which have similar genes like humans live on fruits, if sugars in fruits are harmful to our body, they have to suffer from diabetics and obesity long time ago. There are several experiments that make diabetic patients to eat plenty of fruits as a meal once a day. Their sugar levels dropped dramatically after a few months.

@Nico Like I stated before, not all diets are good for all people. There are many diabetics that do have that reaction to high fruit diets. There have been studies done in rats that have 99% similar genes to human that explains this possible reaction. That's also why I stated that people need to research what works for them. Main point being that what might work for most does not work for all, this is also the reason doctor "practice" medicine and will never be considered "masters" of medicine, because there are exceptions to every situation.
