My Chinese friend sent me some books but they are completely

in Chinese so I can't really read it I was wondering if anyone has seen these books before.

    我觉得这不适合你看，如果不是达到精通汉语的程度，是无法理解内容的。这是中国古人写的诗歌，与我们现在的语言表达形式是不一样的。你应该想要学会说中国话，想用中国话交谈，先不要以中国古代的书籍为学习攻克点，可以看些儿童书籍呀，建议看较简单直白的书。从拼音学起，从简单字学起，可以看看中国学生的小学课本。你的朋友是认真的嘛？怎么会让你去看古诗呢。

    Do you know, Tagore？This book just as Tagore's "Stray Birds". Very old poetry. This is an ancient Chinese language。So I don't recommend that you just start reading these books. 😉but this is a very good traditional chinese culture！
