The crux of the matter is they're not roses at all. Fairytales are in books.It is a socially constructed notion that physical attractiveness is one of the important assets that a woman can possess and it is something all women should strive to achieve. Same for prince charming. Prince charming doesn't exist at all. Many people think that they need to have more muscles to become attractive. Few people even think to develop their internal qualities. It is crucial that we start rethinking some fairytales that reinforce prejudices about external appearance.
