Even for your short stay, we enjoyed being with you. I think it was a good experience for my children. Did you enjoy your stay? Didn’t I scheduled too much events? Weren’t the portion of meal too big? I might not be able to more considerate of you as you are the first student from abroad. Please be generous. Feel free to visit us again when you come to Kyoto next time. I’m sure you will be able to be a great priest in the future.

Dear Zach, It was a short time, but I got to have such a great time with you. I think my children got great experiences as well. I was worried if I had planed too much stuff or if I had made too much food for you. How was your stay? You were the first exchange student ever for my family, so I think there was something inconvenient for you. Just laugh and forgive us about that, please. When you come to Kyoto again, please come to our place. I’m sure you’re going to become such a great priest.

Thank you for spending time with us, it was short but we enjoyed it. I think it was a great experience for the kids too. I was worried that maybe I made too many plans but I wanted you to enjoy your stay, and maybe i prepared too many food. Hope it was okay for you. This was the first time we accepted a foreign student so we might not have being perfect, but I hope you can just laugh about it and forgive us about it. Please come visit us if you come to Kyoto again. I know you’ll become a great priest. It’s not exactly the same, but to think it’s what he wants to say 😌 Sounds like the Japanese family really enjoyed and cares about you ☺
