Why can't I search for members nearby even though I have paid for VIP membership?

  1. Please send us a screenshot of the order confirmation email you received from Google Play or Apple

  2. Please confirm whether you can use other VIP features (e.g. 3 learning languages) or if it is just the nearby function that isn't working correctly

  3. Please check if you have enabled location settings in your phone settings

iOS: Settings > Privacy > Location Services > HelloTalk > Allow Location Access

Android: Settings > Apps or Apps & Notifications > HelloTalk > Permission

If all settings are set correctly but you are still experiencing the same issue, please submit a report using this form. This way our developers can look into this straight away and fix it if necessary.
