How to improve your speaking??
This is for the people who want

to communicate in English. I know many might disagree with this, but the results prove my point.
This is how I teach my students here in Beijing and they learn to speak with confidence.
Forget about grammar!!
Grammar is more for the literacy skills of reading and writing, it is not that important for speaking. We learn from hearing and repeating.
Why do children speak without grammar rules? Because they hear words and then they repeat the words (with mistakes). With more practice the mistakes get fewer.
Grammar is hard, confusing, and in some ways useless. Most students are great at grammar, but that does not help them learn to communicate. Grammar makes you want to give up.
Practice listening, imitating and repeating. It takes time, but this method will have you speaking, not thinking about grammar rules you don't need.
Spend your time learning to speak, speak, and speak.
