It's the anniversary

of Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, during the French Revolution. It represent the end of the absolute monarchy and the beginning of the Republic.

The oldest and largest regular military parade in Europe is held on 14 July on the Champs-Élysées in Paris in front of the President of the Republic. There is also a huge fireworks in front of the Eiffel Tower at night 🎉
