    You know, in India here is also a place which is called "the golden city". This place located at "Jaisalmer (a district of Rajasthan state, India). It also has a fort in middle of the city. The whole city is crafted by yellow stone. And in sunlight it looks like the whole city is made by gold. So that's why it's called "the golden city". Unfortunately, I can't share photo in this reply 😂

    @Manish it's called the blue city for a reason tho, Well Chefchaouen's blue walls are a popular subject of interest. There are several theories as to why the walls were painted blue. One popular theory is that the blue keeps mosquitos away. The blue is said to symbolize the sky and heaven, and serve as a reminder to lead a spiritual life. Founded : 1471
