This week the USA will be celebrating Independence Day on the
Fourth of July. We think of July 4, 1776, as a day that represents the Declaration of Independence and the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation. We celebrate with parades, music, a backyard barbecue (with BBQ chicken, ribs, hot dogs and hamburgers, potato salad and coleslaw, baked beans, watermelon, lots of other delicious foods) and plenty of fireworks. 56
