can someone explain the particle '고' in this sentence ?

'나

좋아하냐? .. 좋아하냐고??'

why do we attach '고' here ?

    When you ask the same expression one more time, you can attatch '고'. It's like checking.

    Right ^^ As others have said, it means emphasizing. So after saying a sentence. "-고?" = "Really? Or are you sure?" It gives nuances like this. 😜😝

    @ry 어떤 질문을 했을 때 확실하게 답을 듣고 싶을 때 사용하는데 보통 상대방이 빨리 대답을 안해서 다시 물어보는 경우에 사용해요.

    You can use '뭐라고' when you didn't hear clearly or when you are aghast.

    @ry It can be thought of as an abbreviation for "지금 나를 좋아하냐고 묻자나/ I'm asking you if you like me.". ★Other Example★ 내 차 어딨어? 내 차 어딨냐고 (묻자나)! Where's my car? I'm asking where my car is!
