BORED VS. BORING

I am bored

= This means you are feeling bored.

I am boring = This means you make other people feel bored.

This movie is boring = This means the movie makes people feel bored.

This movie is bored = This sentence is not correct. An object or a thing can't have a feeling (including boredom).
