In recent years I hadn’t really celebrated my birthday. However

, this year I opted to reconsider as time is the most precious of commodities yet one of the least secure. Life should be a celebration and I feel reinvigorated to treat it as such. As the old cliché attests, you only get one life.

以前没有庆祝我的生日。但从今年的为止我认识到我们都应该珍惜时间。所以今年决定去首尔庆祝，明年去哪里？我已经很期待呀！

I haven't been celebrating my birthday for quite a while, particularly when I'm living abroad on my own without family and friends around. When life gets busy, birthday is just like another day. I agree that we only live once, don't we? It's true when celebrating special days it does make you feel rejuvenated. I believe celebration gives meaning of life and captures particular moments in different stages of life. I'm glad you had good time in Seoul and looking forward to seeing your next birthday trip post. 😉
