A lot of people ask me to share some things about American culture

. I never really know where to start. I always think the U.S. is just a normal place to live with normal social values. That is true, in a sense, but there is much more than meets the eye.

I am taking a class for my MBA based on the TV show “The Wire.” It’s a show about police and inner-city crime in Baltimore, Maryland. It’s often called the best show of all time. I have watched three seasons, and so far it is one of my favorites.

@Mike 麦克儿 yeah, I watched years ago, it’s hard to decide on my favorite season because all of them are quite impressive, but there is one season about the worker on dock, maybe season 2? I really feel sorry for the union leader.... so I might pick that one.

I did get scared when I had half day in Baltimore alone, a beautiful city but it's quite scaring to me after it was getting dark. I remember it was about 7 in the evening, there were not many people on the streets anymore except occasional black homeless people wandering around. I didn't mean they were dangerous but to a solo foreign traveler like me, I had never been so frightened when walking along streets to get back to my hostel..
