My daughter made Пáска (paska) yesterday. It’s a traditional

Ukrainian Easter bread that my mother’s family used to make. It was her first time baking a yeast bread, and she didn’t want my help.

The dough didn’t rise properly, but she made a beautiful loaf of hard bread (it’s too dense to eat). 😅

Orthodox Easter is April 19th, so next Sunday, I’ll help her make a new one.

    It’s beautiful and I can only imagine how beautiful it would fly through the air knocking someone out but that’s just my dark heart 🖤 don’t judge me~

    @동네삼촌 It’s sometime looks like balls of dough, but many times it’s braided like this. Some has swirls. It can be plain, or very intricate, even iced like a cake. My grandmother used to bake hers in coffee cans so that it was tall 😊
